What a valid notice needs
A clear identification of the work you say is infringed.
Where the material sits, in enough detail for us to find it.
Your name, a postal address, a telephone number and an email address.
A statement that you hold a genuine belief the use is not authorised by the owner, an agent or the law.
A statement that the information you have given is accurate and that you are the owner or are authorised to act for the owner.
Your signature, on paper or electronic.
How fast we move
A valid notice is acknowledged within 2 business days and acted on within 5. A notice missing something comes back to you with a note on what is needed.
Putting your side
If something you posted was taken down and you believe that was an error, send a counter-notice to the same place, with the same identifying details and a statement that the information is accurate.
