Getting it running
Confirm the hardware is Android
Do this first and save yourself a wasted download: an Apple TV, a Samsung or an LG cannot run TiViMate at all, so on those use IPTV Smarters. A Firestick, an Android box, an Android TV or a Google TV is what you want here.
Put it on the device
From the Play Store on Android TV and Google TV, it is a normal install. On a Firestick there is no Play Store, so it comes in through Downloader exactly as the Firestick guide sets out.
Feed it the Xtream login
Launch it, pick Add playlist, then Xtream Codes login, and hand over the server address, username and password before pressing Next. There is no M3U box to fill and none is needed — the login carries everything.
Label it and pull the guide
Name the playlist something you will know later if a second one ever joins it, then wait while the channels and grid arrive. In Settings, TV guide, set the refresh to twelve hours; the EPG rides along with the Xtream login, so there is no separate URL to hunt down.
Weigh up Premium, then test a match
Premium is the part everyone gets wrong: you buy it in the separate TiViMate Companion app on a phone, not on the television. It is roughly $9.99 a year, or a one-off lifetime licence in the mid-thirties, with a week to trial recording and split view. Load a live game afterwards to be sure the guide is right before the weekend.
If the picture will not come good
"Playlist could not be loaded"
Two things to check in order: that the server address still carries its port, and that the term has not lapsed. Then re-key the password by hand — pasting from a chat drags an invisible space along about half the time.
The grid reads "no information"
Push a manual refresh through Settings, TV guide, Update now, and relaunch. On a large line-up a first guide build can also simply want longer than most people are willing to give it.
