Getting it running
Grab the build that matches the screen
Where it comes from depends on the device. Play Store on Android phones and TVs. A sideload through Downloader on a Firestick, laid out in the Firestick guide. The built-in store on Samsung and LG, listed as IPTV Smarters. The App Store on Apple, listed as IPTV Smarters Player. The developer site for Windows and Mac.
Take the Xtream option over M3U
On first launch, agree to the terms and select Login with Xtream Codes API. Leave the M3U route alone unless a support agent has told you to use it, because Xtream drags in the guide and the on-demand shelf by itself while a plain playlist usually will not.
Type in the three values
Give the profile any label you like, then the username, the password, and the server address with its http:// prefix and its port on the end, copied straight off the WhatsApp message. Tap Add User to save it.
Leave the guide to populate
Channels, films and the programme data now pull down, and the grid can take a few minutes to fill, so do not write it off in the first half-minute. Head to Settings, EPG and turn on Enable EPG on live TV so the guide overlays while a channel is playing.
Set decoding, then prove it works
Under Settings, Player settings, pick the built-in player on hardware decoding, then load a live channel to check. If exactly one channel stutters while the rest are fine, flip that single channel to software decoding from its own player menu rather than changing the setting for everything.
If the picture will not come good
"Your account is expired"
The date on the plan has passed; the app is behaving correctly. A renewal over WhatsApp brings the same credentials back to life within minutes, with nothing to reinstall and no settings to redo.
Nothing in the channel list after signing in
Swipe down to refresh, then log out and in again. Still empty means the server address is off somewhere, and nine times out of ten it is the port that is missing or wrong.
It force-closes on a Firestick
Empty its cache under Settings, Applications, Manage installed applications, and relaunch. If it keeps quitting, delete it and put a current build on — a stale APK against newer Fire OS is the usual reason.

Should I pick this or TiViMate?
This one is free, plainer and everywhere. TiViMate has the far better guide, plus recording and a split view, for roughly $10 a year, and only on Android. For a household built around live sport, TiViMate earns that quickly; for everyone else, Smarters is more than enough.
