Getting it running
Pick your route
Want the closest thing to the TV experience? Take the Smarters desktop app. Already have VLC and just want a quick look? Use that. Want zero install? The browser player. Any of the three has a channel up within minutes.
Route A: the Smarters desktop app
Download the Windows or macOS installer from the IPTV Smarters site, install and open it, choose Login with Xtream Codes API and enter your three values.
Route B: VLC with the M3U link
With VLC installed, press Ctrl+N, or Cmd+N on a Mac, paste the M3U link and press Play. Ctrl+L opens the playlist pane so you can move by group rather than guessing.
Route C: the browser player
Open the web player address from your activation message in Chrome or Edge and sign in. Nothing to install, which makes it the fastest way to confirm an account is live before you set up a single television.
If the picture will not come good
VLC opens the list but nothing plays
VLC is still parsing a very large file. Let the playlist pane finish filling before you click, then double-click a channel. If one refuses, try its HD or SD twin before assuming a fault.
