Weigh it up before you start
If IPTV is the main use for that television, the honest answer is to add a Fire TV Stick and skip the rest of this. If the Roku has to do the job, read on — mirroring always works, and the Smarters channel sometimes does.
Look in the Roku Channel Store
Press Home, go to Streaming Channels or the search field, and look for IPTV Smarters Player or IPTV Player. Add it if it is there; availability varies by region and changes without notice.
Sign in with Xtream Codes
If the channel installed, open it, choose the Xtream Codes option, and enter your username, password and server address as usual.
Or mirror from a phone or PC
Turn on Screen mirroring under Settings, System. On Android use Cast or Smart View; on Windows press Win+K. Play the stream on that device and it shows on the Roku. It works, but it ties up the phone for the night.
If the picture will not come good
The IPTV channel vanishes from the store
Roku prunes these listings from time to time, which is why we will not promise a particular one will be there when you look. If yours goes, the account is fine: mirror instead, or move that television to a stick.

Roku — common questions
Can you actually get IPTV on a Roku?
Partly. There is no sideloading and the listed players come and go, which makes it the least dependable platform for this. Mirroring is the reliable fallback. Given the choice, put a Firestick or an Android box on that set instead.
