Getting it running
Check you actually need the M3U at all
If your player offers Xtream Codes — and Smarters, TiViMate and most others do — use that and close this guide, since Xtream brings the guide data too. The M3U link is only for players that will not take a login, such as VLC or Kodi.
Copy the link, and mind it
You will find it in the activation message, shaped like http://server:port/get.php with your username and password tacked on. Treat it as you would a password: whoever holds that link effectively holds your subscription.
Drop it into the player
In VLC it is Media, then Open Network Stream. In Smart IPTV it goes to siptv.app/mylist. Kodi wants the IPTV Simple Client with the link in its M3U URL field. TiViMate and Smarters will take one under M3U playlist, though on those two the Xtream login treats you better.
Point it at the guide if it asks
A few players keep the EPG separate. It is the same host ending in xmltv.php with your details attached, and support will send it over whenever you need it.
If the picture will not come good
It takes an age to load
That file holds thousands of lines and a simple player reads every one before it shows a thing. Either step up to a player that groups by category, such as TiViMate or Smarters, or ask support to cut you an M3U trimmed to Australia.

Why do the free M3U lists on GitHub die?
They are scraped streams reposted for anyone to lift, so thousands of strangers pile onto one source at once. The host blocks them or simply buckles, generally inside a few days, and there is nobody to raise it with when it goes. The sites passing them around are also a well-worn malware route. A paid playlist answers only to your account, and that is the whole of the difference.
